What is Pre-Law Advising Services?

We help Illini students and alumni explore legal careers, build academic skills for law school, and prepare their most successful law school applications, maximizing admission and financial aid! From practice LSATs to law school recruitment events to networking with lawyers, we host over 30 pre-law workshops and events per year. Our pre-law advisors provide individual advising from lawyers with over 20 years of combined advising experience.

LSAT Updates: Changes to the LSAT Writing

On March 4, 2024, LSAC announced its plans to update the LSAT Writing starting on July 31, 2024.

LSAT Updates: Changes Beginning August 2024

On October 18, LSAC announced its plans to remove the Analytical Reasoning (Logic Games) section from the LSAT beginning with the August 2024 administration. 

Logic Games will be included in upcoming LSAT administrations through June 2024.

Supreme Court Decision Related to Admissions

On Thursday, June 29, 2023, the U.S. Supreme Court released its decision in Students for Fair Admissions, Inc vs. President and Fellows of Harvard College and Students for Fair Admission, Inc v.
