Dimitria Johnson is the Pre-Law Advising Services Secretary. She handles all of the scheduling and can also answer questions regarding the Letter of Recommendation service. To make an appointment with Judy or Jamie, call Dimitria at 217.333.9669.

Any University of Illinois undergraduate, of any major on campus, can make an appointment to discuss:Dimitria and Jamie

  • Questions about the application process
  • And any other questions you may have about law school and legal careers.

Express Advising

We also offer Express Advising, which is 15 minute blocks on a first-come, first-served basis, on Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. This can be ideal for quick questions or specific application issues that need to be discussed.

Note about Peak Times

Our busiest time of year by far is mid-September through the end of October. During this period, our advisors will frequently be booked back-to-back. In order to better meet student needs, please consider the best time for your appointment:
